Yes, garments with our transfers applied to them can be machine washed. Please note - warm water, harsh detergents, and aggressive wash cycles can damage both the garment and the transfer itself. Here’s what we recommend to maintain the longevity of your garment:

  1. Turn your pressed shirt inside-out before washing.
  2. Separate similar colors, weight, and textures. Make sure to not overfill the washer.
  3. Use mild detergent with cold water on a gentle cycle.

We recommend hang-drying on a plastic hanger, but a drier works fine if you follow these steps:

  1. Turn your pressed shirts inside-out before drying.
  2. Separate similar colors, weight, and textures.
  3. Use the lowest possible heat setting or Permanent Press.

Yes! They work great on lightweight polyester and moisture wicking material and are very breathable across all fabric types.

Yes, garments with DTF transfers can be dry cleaned. However, it's always best to check the garment's care label first.

One of the best features of DTF transfers is their incredible durability. With proper application and care, cracking and peeling shouldn't be a concern.

DTF transfers can be ironed if done correctly. Turn the garment inside out and use a low heat setting to avoid damaging the design.

If your transfer is not applying correctly, stop peeling, lay it back down, and trouble shoot as follows:

  • If some or all of the design does not transfer AND it was cool when peeling, it means there was not enough heat, pressure, or time. Press your transfer again with more pressure and time (5-10 seconds).
  • If that doesn’t work, try 15°F heat increments until you find the sweet spot. You truly cannot damage the transfer by pressing multiple times.

DTF prints tend to feel softer and smoother than screen print. Screen prints can also feel soft, however they typically sit thicker on the fabric, creating a more noticeable texture, especially on darker fabrics with a thick underbase.
